Upcoming Events Our Council is attending a baseball game on July 26th between the Tradewater Pirates and the Farmington Firebirds at Riverside Park in Dawson Springs. Please plan to arrive at 5:15 pm so that we can distribute tickets, get the concession arrangements organized as well as give people the opportunity to meet the players and have an autograph session.
All Stars attending will have the opportunity to receive
autographs for the Tradewater Pirate players. Their park
was originally used by the Pittsburgh Pirates many years ago as
their training site.
The Tradewater Pirates are a minor league baseball team that
feeds the professional baseball leagues with talent for the
college and high school league players. It is good level
of baseball and I know all who attend will have a good time.
Please be on time so that you can get a good seat and enjoy the
festivities. Tickets
will be at the front of the entry gate 1/2 hour prior to the
game. Event Chairman Dymek will hand out tickets as well
as stamp you hands so you can receive food (paid for by the K of
C). Chairman Dymek needs to know the number of people
(Special Needs Stars and Sponsors) who plan on attend so I
can have the necessary tickets. Please call him.
